Too many games, not enough time
I’ve officially spent 122 hours playing MW3. And only 45 hours playing Skyrim.
I picked up SSX on Tuesday, plus I haven’t even opened Dark Souls or Deus Ex which I got at Christmas. AND Mass Effect 3 comes out in 4 days My goodness. Too many games, not enough time!
The Mass Effect 3 demo was released on Valentines day. And what a demo it is.
The demo gives you 3 choices - Action, Story, or Role Playing. I picked Role Playing so I got a little bit of the story. I haven’t tried the others yet.
The demo starts off with Shepard watching a young boy play. As you progress through it the Reapers begin their attack and you have to fight your way out. (running down buildings and jumping gaps and the like.) The demo was emotional, which I believe the game is going for since it’s been stated that this would most likely be the last Mass Effect game we see.
The kinect features are amazing. You can speak the dialogue you’d like Shepard to use, switch weapons, toss grenades, and open things. Now, it’s a lot easier and faster to just press A on doors and things, but the other stuff is a great feature to use if you’ve got a kinect.
There’s also a multiplayer option (for those who have Battle Felid 3) the rest of you have to wait until February 17th. It’s a toss up between Horde from Gears and Survival from MW3… And frankly, I do not like it. (my boyfriend and his friends are obsessed with it at the moment!) I don’t know why, but I just can’t like it; I can’t get into it. I hope when the game comes out the co-op plays a lot better.
I’ve never been so excited about a game before. I’m not a huge RPG fan, but the Mass Effect series has always held a special place in my little gaming heart. The game drops on March 6th (19 days!!!) and I can not wait :)
If you haven’t done so already, download the demo give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

The MLG winter season is upon us. There were a lot of people out there waiting by their phones, checking twitter, and Facebook religiously waiting to hear wether or not the pro circuit would finally be picking up Gears of War.
But alas my gear heads, it’s a no go. Again. I know a lot of people are disappointed and upset over this. Sundance DiGiovanni tweeted this —
“GOW3 will not be part of the Winter, looking at future seasons. Working on something that will offer online and live.”
And that is not what people wanted to hear.
Review: Assassin’s Creed Revelations
I’m not much of a history buff. I have a horrible memory, and history was never my strong suit because of it. In high school I preferred science and English over every other subject so it may shock you when I say, Assassin’s Creed is my favorite game series. I mean, It helps that I love all that old timey stuff (If I had a TARDIS I’d visit the 17th century first) But, AC is so much more than a history lesson.
